Preventative and Wellness Care:
We believe that it is essential to build and maintain a strong preventative health plan for your pet’s health. Preventative health care is the key to ensuring the longest and healthiest life. It all starts with our comprehensive wellness exams, vaccines based on patient needs, and labwork for internal organ function. We recommend at minimal yearly wellness exams so that we can detect the earliest signs of diseases, changes in weight, dental disease, discuss changes in the home environment and patient to minimize discomfort for your pet and this helps to minimize the overall cost of pet care. It is always better to catch things early on rather than trying to treat more advance disease.
Our Customer Service Representatives and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.
Urgent Care and Emergency Appointments
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle most urgent care scenarios your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to find time between scheduled appointments for urgent care appointments. We will assess the urgency of teh appointment and build a plan to assess your pet between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our nursing team and receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
After hours Emergency
We have a number of wonderful after-hours, urgent care, and emergency clinics around both the Triad and Triangle area's.
