Office Manager and Head Veterinary Assistant
Ellen has been caring for family pets since 1986, and has been a part of the team at Forest Oaks Animal Hospital for 28 years. She has assisted Dr. Rodger Kleisch from the beginning, and has been an integral part of the growth and longevity of FOAH. With Ellen's understanding of medicine, compassion and management of individuals, Ellen has moved from Veterinary Assistant to Office Manager. While she manages, she continues to increase her medical knowledge and always enjoys working with pets and their owners.
Tera Burgess - Veterinary Assistant
Tera has been caring for family pets since 1993, and became a part of the FOAH team in 2003. Throughout the past 11 years, Tera has increased her medical knowledge and enjoys surgical procedures and medicine cases. Tera is an alumnus of Southeast Guildford High School and has enjoyed living in this area her whole life. She is a valued member of not only FOAH but also with the community, with involvement in charities and recreational sports.
Taylor Pack - Veterinary Technician
Taylor has been a part of the Forest Oaks Animal Hospital Family for 7 years, and has become a veterinary assistant caring for family pets since 2014. Taylor is a Greensboro native, attended Southeast High School and has lived in Guilford County area her whole life. During her past 7 years as a member of our team, Taylor has increased her knowledge and not only enjoys caring for pets through preventative medicine, but enjoys animal dentistry and surgery.
Amber Ward - Veterinary Technician
Amber is the newest member to our technical staff, and joined the staff in 2015. Amber has always loved animals and breeds animals. When the opportunity opened for a position at Forest Oaks, both the current staff and Amber could not be more excited about the opportunity. She has quickly becoming an incredible valuable member of our team here at FOAH.
Ashley Blair - Veterinary Technician
Lisa Duggins - Receptionist
Lisa is one of our full-time receptionists here at FOAH. She is the newest member of the receptionist team and Lisa has quickly learned that she is not only is a valued receptionist, but can translate a great deal of medical knowledge and is a great resource for initial medical questions.
Kay Bowman - Receptionist
Kay has been caring for family pets since 2003, and has been a member of our team since 2010. Over the past 4 years, Kay has quickly become one of our valued receptionist. Kay is always a wonderful face to greet you and say we will see you soon. She is a wealth of knowledge and if she doesn't know your initial medical question will make sure she finds out the appropriate answer for you and your pet.
Karla Bergman - Groomer
Caring for your pampered pets since 2006, and brought her skill here in 2010. Karla graduated from Southeast High School and lives in this area with her husband and pets. Karla was a member of the International Professional Groomers (IPG) since 2008, and this year has begun achieving her National Dog Grooming Master Certification through the NDGAA.
