Dr. Rodger Kleisch is the owner of Forest Oaks Animal Hospital and has been practicing veterinary medicine in Greensboro and the Guildford County area since 1984, after working in private practice in Virginia. He is a native of Roanoke, VA and a 1979 graduate of University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kleisch is also a Hampden-Sydney College Alumni (class of '74) and past Adjunct Clinical Professor at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.
In 1984, Dr. Kleisch purchased Forest Oaks Animal Hospital, and in 2004 built the current building and moved FOAH to it's current location. Dr. Kleisch has a special interest general small animal preventative medicine, surgery and orthopedics and oncology. In past years, Dr. Kleisch has traveled with Dr. Lynn and other healthcare providers to Honduras to provide appropriate medical care to those in need.
Dr. Kleisch is the father of three, and the grandfather to two Granddaughters - May and Anderson. In his spare time, Dr. Kleisch enjoying time with his wife, Tresa, and their family. There is nothing more he enjoys than time with his granddaughters, however he does really enjoy golf and being outdoors.
